   I just saw the finale and I think I was as gob-smacked as you were. I was pretty sure Parvati would make the final based on her jury relationships and I thought either Amanda or Natalie would be there with her. What I didn't expect was Amanda going to pieces at the exact same F4 TC stage she had her meltdown last year. It's like she can be pretty clinical dispatching others but once it gets to the people she cares about she just can't do it.... Which may be one the things that won over Ozzy's heart, lol.. What did you think about that?
   
   The thing I'm amazed about, as I said in edgic, is that a girl like her would fail to pick up any female votes at all in two seasons of trying!!! And that a girl like Parvati who you'd think would piss a lot of other women off with her flirting picked up every single female vote.

   As for your cousins? Programmers, schprogrammers. Do they know anything about Survivor? Can they make people laugh? Can they cuss at the drop of a hat? Do they watch Hell's Kitchen?

   Well just a few hours prior to the finale, SP spoiled that Parv would win over Amanda in a "close vote" (not THAT close imo) but I still had hopes that maybe Amanda didn't suck too bad and that Parv just had a better speech at FTC. But seeing her fall to pieces AGAIN, wow, it was kind of sad 'cause she just can't pull the trigger on ppl she genuinely cares about; last season was Todd, this season was Parv/Cirie. Either way, Parv winning wasn't too bad, she did honestly play the better game. btw, congrats to edgic eh? Parvati's win was a huge edgic victory.
   
   And I honestly can't believe that she failed to pick up any female votes, what's up with that? lol, I chalk it all up to them being jealous of Amanda... jk, seriously, I think that Amanda's answers just plain sucked and the women saw through her nice act, she approached both FTCs in the complete wrong manner. She'd have had more luck owning up to her moves rather than trying to play the nice girl, it may work for her in pageants but its a no go for Survivor. Poor Amanda, I've been disappointed two seasons in a row now.
   
   No sympathy for Erik, kid was a huge fan, really should've known better. Probs a real nice kid, but I hated him on the show... Just like I hated Alexis, Jason etc... I wasn't a fan of the fans (minus Nat and Tracy)

   Eh, I'm slowly learning to just work hard for myself rather than for the sake of matching other ppl's greatness.

   smart thinking! though i didn't have a self vote against me, because self votes didn't count for that second round. my vote came from Simon, who thought i was less active than Alan ... even though we were allied and everyone else voted Alan! so i blame Lauri's downfall on him. :)

   Med program. Now you're talking. Hell, I know what a mountain it must seem at the moment but you'll get such a kick going for it. Just don't waste your talents and your brain, ! What does your family think?
   
   I watched the latest episode with a heavy heart, rather like being present at an accident I'm powerless to stop. Poor kid! At least we watched girl power rule for the first time. ! Maybe now won't have to watch Probst crack the shits with everyone at the reunion like he did in Vanuatu when he was pissed over what Chris did to July.

   Thanks oh great wise one, my parents told me to go for it and that they'd support me no matter what. Comforting, lol, but I have a few older cousins who are hella smart, one's a computer programmer and works at Microsoft and the other is a researcher... at the end of the day, I can't help but feel the stress of being compared to them so its like I have to constantly prove myself. Ugh, kind of sucks but I'm the "baby" of the family so I guess it was inevitable.
   
   The episode Erik was booted out was freakin' hilarious! It was discussed as a possibility in the Spoilers forum but to actually see it play out? Priceless!
   
   Have you seen the finale? lol, I know you have to wait to see it so I don't want to accidently spoil it for you... but OMG!!! lol
